Horror places of Goa

Goa is known for good places to visit but also a attraction towards horror place here are some of the places I visited personally and the places have a true real story behind them. This place are known well by most of the people and thus visit them for photo-shoots.

Three King’s Church

Speaking of the most haunted churches in Goa, the Three King’s Church is definitely the one that will appear on top of the list. The name of the church is based on the three scholars who went to visit Jesus in Bethlehem. However, the story about the ghosts revolves around the three Portuguese Kings who were the rulers of the place.One of the three kings got greedy and poisoned the other two. But his subjects became extremely unhappy and the greedy king finally committed suicide. The three kings are buried under the church and it is said that their spirits still roam about.

Dona Paula Beach

There are many stories that do rounds about the beach of Dona Paula. One of the most popular ones is that of two estranged lovers who could not come together due to the difference of caste and nationality. Stricken by grief, both committed suicide.Well, what can be better than such a tragic love story to create some interesting ghost stories? There are some people who claim to have experienced the unknown presence of spirits near the Dona Paula beach, but nothing concrete. Nevertheless, this beautiful beach remains one of the most interesting spots to find ghosts.

 D’Mello House

D’Mello House 

The D’Mello house is arguably the most infamous of all haunted places in Goa. There used to e two brothers who lived in the house. There was an ugly argument between the two brothers over the right to ancestral property and one brother killed another during the fight.

It is said that the house has hence been cursed and no one can even divide the property peacefully. There are many who have also heard shrieking sounds coming out of the house at night. It is often referred to as the ghosts of the brothers haunting the place.

The Rodrigues Home

The Rodrigues Home

This home isn’t abandoned and the Rodrigues family still lives at this place. However, there have been claims of paranormal activities in the house. It is said that the doors and windows of the house keep opening at will. People have also noticed the lights in the place flickering.The linens often disappear and appear out of nowhere in the midnight and the kitchen cutleries move on their own. That’s one spooky house to live in for sure!

Goa is certainly a lively place to visit and remains a favourite tourist destination till date. Its beauty and allure remain as it has always been. However, these tales of haunted places in Goa certainly makes it an interesting place to visit too! We have always been fascinated by the unknown, and ghost stories are something we all love to hear. The ghost stories about Goa are truly entertaining.
